Ukrainians have long been characterized by agriculture, which was an integral part of their material and spiritual life.The rites and customs of spring time reflected the close connection of man with nature, his hope for a good harvest and faith in the power of traditions that ensured survival.The article analyzes the agricultural basis of the spring calendar cycle of rituals of the Boykivshchyna population.This material is devoted to the analysis and systematization of traditional ritual actions, which concerns the agricultural component of the spring period of the calendar ritual system of the Boykivs.Based on the component analysis, the main components of agrarian relations are identified.The main attention is focused on the semantics of traditional rituals associated with spring plowing, sowing, calling for a bountiful harvest and natural blessings.Based on empirical material, the symbolism of vesnyanok, gaivok, traditional rituals associated with the Christian holidays of the Annu
