Tripoli faces chronic challenges in managing household solid waste due to a lack of equipment, weak institutional infrastructure, and limited social support for environmental initiatives. This study aimed to identify the most economically and environmentally suitable method for handling such waste by measuring local community support for four proposed options: recycling, organic composting, waste-to-energy conversion, and a shift toward a circular economy. The study adopted a descriptive analytical approach using a closed-ended questionnaire distributed to a stratified random sample of 280 participants representing diverse age and education levels within Tripoli.
