TL;DRAbstract

The paper considers the problem of constructing a digital twin (DT) of the thermal cutting process of sheet material, which occurs when cutting using laser, gas, etc. equipment. The purpose of constructing such a DT is to solve the problem of optimizing the path of the cutting tool, considering the thermal effects on the material being cut. The problem statement is given. An approach to modeling changes in the temperature of the material being cut based on a voxel representation of information is proposed. The results of a computational experiment are given.
