Elasticity and Wave Propagation

This cluster of papers focuses on the mechanics and fracture behavior of nanomaterials and composites, including the use of wavelets for solution of nonlinear PDEs, development of mechanical models, review of fracture in viscoelastic materials, and analysis of elastic wave propagation. It also explores the influence of third order elastic constants, establishment of fundamentals in nanocomposite mechanics, and the study of microdamage in these materials.
