TL;DRAbstract

Research is devoted to the problem of representation of the death of the political leader. In the focus of the article is a question of representation of the death of the ex-president of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin in a discourse of national-patriotic opposition. On the basis of the analysis of newspapers «Sovietskaya Rossia», Pravda, Zavtra the author investigates speech strategies and tactics which create the image of B.N.Yeltsin. Research is conducted within the frameworks of critical discourse-analysis.
