I had the great pleasure of working with Lutz on a couple of projects, and am incredibly grateful for the mentorship that grew out of our time spent working together. In addition to being a wonderful teacher and mentor, Lutz was a willing sounding board for my ideas while encouraging me to pose focused research questions that fit into the context of an established literature.
