TL;DRAbstract

Territorial water of coast of Semarang represents estuary from a number of river getting through the town. There are variety resousces are its conducive exploiting by doubled. At one side territorial water of coast of Semarang used for the area of fishing ground, but on the other side region have accept high contamination burden, namely come from various human being activity as long as area jetting of river. Contamination of chemicals represents problem very serious in coastal region, especially at the heigt of industrial activity. In order to control of contamination of water since 1989 government have executed Clean River Program (Prokasih). This Research aim to 1) Getting picture about quality of water in territorial water of River of Prokasih in Semarang; 2) Evaluating step policy of Government in control of contamination of water trough Prokasih to condition of territorial water in Semarang.
