TL;DRAbstract

ABSTRACT Optimal conditions for the simultaneous quantitative separation of resveratrol, ɛ - viniferins, balanocarpol, and balanocarpol glycoside a new substance, isolated of Vitis vinifera, were investigated in extracts from leaves and branches. The best results were obtained by the use of reversed - phase high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) using a mixture of 5% acetic acid and methanol (65:35) as the mobile phase, detector wavelength of 290nm and flow rate of 1mL/ min. The quantification showed the presence of all these compounds in the ethanolic extract from branches, but only the resveratrol was quantified in the ethanolic extracts from leaves.
