TL;DRAbstract

Banking law system on the basis of syariah principles (Islamic Law) with profit sharing system, enables to apply in Indonesia after the prevailing of the Act number 7, 1992 about Banking (article 6 letter in). This act was followed by the implementation stipulation in The Government Regulation number 72, 1992. It is hoped that this act can give contribution, creating carefulness, and harmony for banks and customers and can perform effectively and efficiently. The problems discussed in this thesis; 1) What are the principles of profit sharing in financing the customers by Bank Syariah Mandiri Semarang, 2) How is the application of financing on the basis of profit sharing principles on the customers of Bank Syariah Mandiri Semarang, and 3) What are the juridical obstructions and the settlements faced by Bank Syariah Mandiri Semarang in applying profit sharing principles in financing customers.
