TL;DRAbstract

The study aims at improving students’ vocabulary mastery through experiential learning by using toys at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten Karanganyar. The specific aims of this study are to describe the procedure of teaching students vocabulary through experiential learning using toys, to clarify whether teaching students vocabulary through experiential learning by using toys can improve the students’ vocabulary, and to describe the strength and weakness of teaching vocabulary through experiential learning by using toys at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten Karanganyar. The study is classroom action research which is conducted in three cycles and it is conducted through the step of learning, planning, acting, observing, and implementing. The study is conducted on September 2008 in Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten Karanganyar. The method of collecting data is test, observation, and interview.
