CHANGES IN THE MORPHOMETRY OF FISH BREEDING PONDS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF MINING SUBSIDENCE

Tadeusz Molenda-2015-01-01-Journal of Ecological Engineering

TL;DRAbstract

The article presents the changes in the morphometry of fish breeding ponds under the influence of mining subsidence. Two fish ponds located in the Upper Silesian Coal Basin (USCB) were selected for the studies. As a result of mining induced the subsidence of the maximum depth of the fish ponds increases. Moreover, the ponds transform into non-drained water bodies.
