Nowadays, there is more acknowledgment that energy efficiency is intrinsically associated to the growth of productivity and to environment benefits. Industries, that demand great amount of energy, are the subject of this dissertation, whose aim is simulate technical potentials of energy savings in this type of companies. These potentials can allow both, government and enterprises, to adopt measures that lead to the rational energy use.
