Compliance on the Non-Smoking Ordinance and the Clean Air Act Among Nursing Students of Liceo de Cagayan University

The study, which was conducted at Liceo de Cagayan University, delved into an analysis of the compliance on the nonsmoking ordinance and the clean air act among the Nursing students of Liceo de Cagayan University. It focused on the three major points: (1) the profile of the respondents in terms of sex and educational level; (2) the extent of compliance of the respondents on the non-smoking ordinance and the clean air act in terms of place of smoking, persons identified to comply the no-smoking sign; and (3) the significant difference on the extent of compliance of respondents when they were grouped according to sex and educational level. In answering these problems, the researchers used the descriptive survey method design. The method was further used to determine the extent of compliance with the non-smoking ordinance and the clean air act of Cagayan de Oro City among students of Liceo de Cagayan University, College of Nursing.
