The quest for new and different techniques of establishing and maintaining the electrical values is continual. Described in this dissertation is a working device developed. around, one such technique, the. research done to define the system and: the synthesis:of the automatic control which makes it practical. In this system the reproducibility of the voltage output is derived from the-predictability of the decay of a radioactive heat source.
