TL;DRAbstract

I was gratified to note that you had included, in the September issue of Applied Optics [ 14, 2084 ( 1975)], a reprint of a portion of the NSF Bulletin, Vol. 2, No. 10 ( 1975) concerning the synchrotron radiation facilities available at Stanford and Wisconsin. The dissemination of information concerning the capabilities of these unique facilities is, of course, a matter of considerable interest to us.
