TL;DRAbstract

Computational fluid dynamics is used\nto study the limitations of filling\nthe tubes in a Pulsed Detonation\nEngine. Direct replacement of the\ncombustor in a conventional engine\nwith the tubes can severely limit the\noperational conditions. An\nalternative method for integrating the\ntubes in the engine is suggested and\nis shown to give a wide range of\nworking conditions.
