TL;DRAbstract
The purpose of this project was to write a grant requesting funds to enhance and maintain a clinical supervision and training program within a domestic violence services agency. This agency, Human Options, provides an array of services to address domestic violence, including prevention, intervention on several levels, and restoration to lives of domestic violence victims. The proposed program would fund individual and group supervision to clinical staff, while providing supervision for masters in social work interns at the agency. Clinical trainings have been included to educate clinicians around topics identified within supervision. Clinical supervision is of great importance as it increases clinician efficacy and job satisfaction, while increasing quality of client services. The actual funding and submission of this grant were not requirements for the successful completion of this academic project.
