TL;DRAbstract

Abstract : The finite element method is applied to the stability analysis of axisymmetric thin shells subjected to axisymmetric load conditions. The control shell element is used in the formulation. Several examples are presented to illustrate the application of the method. The use of the program and a listing of the FORTRAN IV program are given in the Appendices. (Author)
