TL;DRAbstract

Prambanan area is rich of archaeological heritage that consists of Hindus and Budhist temple. At the present time, this area is developing as a center of economic and settlement. Prambanan area lies on two administrative territories, Sleman regency in Yogyakarta Province and Klaten Regency in Central Java Province. Besides the two governments, there are some stakeholders engaged in management of this area, including archaeological office of Yogyakarta and of Central Java province (BP3), and also P.T Taman Wisata. Prambanan area is also an important area for Indonesia, so that national government made some regulations about this area. Based on that facts, this research wants to learn about regulations that are applied on Prambanan area to formulate an ideal management to conserve it. There are some differences between existing land usage and study that was made by JICA in 1979.
