EASI Program Improvements for HP-67 and TI-59 Calculators

TL;DRAbstract

EASI (Estimate of Adversary Sequence Interruption) is an effec tive, simple method which has been developed for use in evaluating physical security systems. The usefulness of the method is enhanced by the fact that it can be implemented on a programmable pocket calculator.New EASI programs for the Hewlett-Packard HP-67 and the Texas Instruments TI-59 calculators are provided. These new programs store the input data for subsequent recall or change. Thus, to per form sensitivity analyses, the user may selectively change different parameters stored in the calculator; it is not necessary to reenter the original input data as in previously developed EASI programs. The new programs eliminate not only the inconvenience of repeated data reentry, but also the potential source of error inherent in data entry.
