Tugging on Superman's Cape
TL;DRAbstract
This thesis is a study of what we consider real, and how we interpret fiction when presented as truth. The work explains the process of finding Jonas Whitmere, a special services janitor, and deciphering his artifacts. The journey begins with a wooden crate and the intent to create a new reality. In order to create this new reality there must be a hole in what is real. This paper explores the process of exploiting these holes, and defining how they are used to create fictitious realities. The results are a collection of Mr. Whitmere's artifacts from his reality. The viewer is left to decide on their own where the line between fiction and reality lives.
