A study of English teaching techniques for autistic students at inclusive educational program of SMPN 29 Surabaya

TL;DRAbstract

Inclusive educational program provides services for the whole of students include autistic students. It is the fact that English teaching needs special techniques moreover for autistic students. Hence, the study focused on the English teaching techniques for autistic students at inclusive educational program of SMPN 29 Surabaya. The purposes of this study are; 1) To know the kinds of English teaching techniques implemented for autistic students at inclusive educational program of SMPN 29 Surabaya, 2) To describe the implementation of the techniques, 3) To find out the problems faced by teachers during the implementation of the techniques. This study applied some English teaching techniques procedures as the theories. Since the study was used descriptive research design, the data used was qualitative data.
