Based on analysis on some foreign emergency managements, an evaluation model of the management system of rural emergencies for M8.0 Wenchuan earthquake stricken area is established. According to investigation of the earthquake stricken area, capabilities of early-warning, emergency response and recovery after the disaster are comprehensively evaluated. Problems and insufficiencies are analyzed and measures are proposed.
