In the article the problem of genesis of music as art form is considered. Role of sense specific to the person of musical sounds, of intonation and rhythmics in the course of occurrence of language and religious representations on the basis of the data of ethnography, linguistics, folklore materials and psychology is elucidated. By definition the emotionally rich music is disposition of sounds various on force, height, duration and subordinated to rhythm, therefore the arising of emotionally rich language at the same time is the music birth.
