TL;DRAbstract

The article discusses the problem of enhancement of the study concerned with handguns in order to improve the performance of the forensic units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Special attention is paid to the description of weapon types (firearm, cold steel, missile), differing from each other with construction, principle of operation and triggering. It is noted that the law № 150-FZ “Concerning Weapons doesn’t mention the blunt weapons as a type of the cold weapons.
