TL;DRAbstract

The land borders were the first who defined country to establish the dimensions of our territory. In determining the boundaries are used both natural boundaries such as rivers or natural features and imaginary boundaries are divided into parallel and geographic meridians. Colombia through its formation as a nation and state, has lost much of its territory from the moment that divided the Gran Colombia , since their separation in any comprised of countries ( Ecuador , Peru and Venezuela ) I remain satisfied with their borders and has not had coverage enough throughout its territory , so it has neglected its border areas. In turn Colombian representatives have ceded part of our territory while being international organizations who ultimately determine who owns it or not space conflict. This problem led to certain conflicts that have been controlled by treaties and conventions which these countries have had to undergo.
