TL;DRAbstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the gingival diversion by the technique of "sulcus dilatation by expansion".The experiment was conducted using beagle's dog teeth, which were submitted to a preexperimental standardized contrai.Twenty-one teeth were used and grooves were dane on the cervical region, of the vestibular face; seven teeth characterizing the cervical shoulder of a full crown shape.Seven teeth, were not shaped, and seven teeth were contrai group without gingival diversion and shaped, ali with finality to analysed the retractar material.Measures were made before and after the utilization of the retractar material, Retrac with digital micrometer.The values were submitted to analysis of variance and T test (5%), and indicated statistical difference between contrai group and group with cervical prepared.
