TL;DRAbstract

This work is placed inside a large project of research, that intends to reconstruct in a systematic way the liturgical-musical tradition used in the Church of Ravenna between the XI-XII century. In the latest years the so-called “Ravenna notation” has been discovered and analyzed. From the ‘Ravenna notation” this study moves, because it has been the main way to identify the liturgical-musical sources to attribute to the Ravenna area. Sixty-eight sources in Ravenna-notation have been collected: among them thirty-one for the Mass liturgy and thirty-four for Office liturgy. In order to make the collected information available and to begin the study and the analysis of the repertories: - a descriptive form has been drown up for each of the identified sources; - the list of chants in each source related to the Mass in XII century, in which the relations between Ravenna source and reference repertories are indicated.
