Síndrome do esgotamento profissional e fatores associados em técnicos de Enfermagem de um hospital público do Estado de São Paulo
TL;DRAbstract
The labor has an essencial importance into the life context of people. However, sometimes it doesn't enable professional achievement, contributing to the physical and psychological workers illness. There are many aspects that make nursing asssistants vulnerable to chronic stress situations that may lead to Professional Burnout, because this worker is one of the healthcare members that spend most time in direct contac with patients. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of the Professional Burnout dimensions in nursing assistants in a public hospital. The informations were collected through a sociodemographic and professional inventory and the Maslach Burnout Inventory. The results showed that the majority of the surveyed sample is female, lives with partner and has children. In addition, they have professional experience and work in fixed shifts, being satisfied with the profession. The results showed suggestive levels of this syndrome in some nursing assistants surveyed (5,9%).
