TL;DRAbstract

The underground waste storage tanks of the Building 241 Areas have been constructed to be as leak-proof as possible. The importance of verifying the fact that there are no leaks, however, has made it advisable to provide equipment which will measure the underground activity at various points throughout each tank farm. Seven 6'' cased holes 150 feet deep have been sunk in each area to permit underground activity surveys.
