TL;DRAbstract

This task involves constructing and demonstrating a working model of an electric downhole steam generator (EDSG) which can use oil field produced water as feed. The primary objectives for the initial reporting period were to build a low-pressure EDSG unit, to construct a test facility for circulating brine and venting steam, and to test the EDSG unit at atmospheric pressure in the new facility. The unit was demonstrated to the Meshekow Oil Recovery Consortium (MORC) participants.
