Phase Transitions and Precursor-induced Diffuse Scattering in V-diluted Lead Phosphate

Blažo Boev-2004-09-01-Goce Delchev University Repository (Goce Delčev University of Štip)

TL;DRAbstract

Pure and doped pallllierite-type fcHoclastics were extensively studied with various experimental techniques to charactcrise their transition behaviour. P-rich cryslals undergo an improper ferroclastic phase transition from a paraelastie phlase with R-3m symmetry to a monoclinic ferroclastie phase (C2/e) . The transition sequence follows that of pure lead phosphate. In comparison, V-rich crystals show a completely different phase transition sequence which has been subject of discussion in literature.
