TL;DRAbstract

William DeWalt, a guide for the party, reported a Folsom point in a fc&ll collection near the town of Vleits on the Black Vermillion River in Marshall County, Kansas* The owner and finder of the point is Krc David Kasper* The site on which the point was found is situated on his farm four miles north of Vleits (NE?, Sec* 30, T3S, R10E)# This i lace is approx imately three miles from the nearest part of the reservoir* A number of largo lanceolate points was also reported to have been recovered on the high roll ing praifce where the Folsom point was found. However, in a reconnaissance of the area, the survey party observed no evidence of an occupational site in the grass covered field* No artifactual material was recovered by the survey*
