TL;DRAbstract

As a knowledge discipline, psychoanalysis has been developed from various concepts employed by man sciences, and amongst them, the linguistic: fundamental science in the lines of investigation that psychoanalysis has taken, principally the concept of representation from Freud and the significant from Lacan. The above mentioned does not mean that the Freudian concept of representation is similar to the Lacanian significant; in fact, the coincidental point of this two concepts is more complex than that, because it would imply to conduct a dialogue between the theories of both authors to conclude in a genealogic study from Freud texts about the concepts of tried and the representation, as well as the significant from Lacan. In other words, it would be necessary to investigate about the origins and development of these concepts and to make a comparison of the relation between them and all those that could result fundamental for the psychoanalysis, and most of all, and even more difficult,
