SIMPLE ENTRAPMENT OF ALCALASE IN DIFFERENT SILICA XEROGELS USING THE TWO STEPS SOL-GEL METHOD

Zoltán Dudás,Aurica P. Chiriac,Gabriela Preda-2011-01-01-Repository of the Academy's Library (Library of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences)

TL;DRAbstract

The present study has focused on the entrapment of Alcalase in different xerogels
\nobtained by using various molar ratios of methyltriethoxysilane, dimethyldietoxisilane and
\ntetraethoxysilane. Silica and their derivatives were characterized with regard to specific
\nsurface area (nitrogen adsorbtion), chemical composition (Fourier transform infrared
\nspectroscopy (FT-IR)), weight loss upon heating (thermogravimetric analysis (TGA)) and
\ncatalytic activity.
