TL;DRAbstract
The preliminary development of a small 180 deg mass spectrograph designed to operate in the framework of a standard 24-in.-radius machine is discussed. The unit requires less than one gram of feed material and provides very high resointion. The performance with heavy elements at elevated temperatures has been measured. (W.D.M.)
