TL;DRAbstract

This report documents the land resources of Lyndavale Station. The report is based on 1:100,000 scale land unit mapping carried out on the property during 2001-02. The information is intended for use as a tool to assist with sustainable management and development of the property. A land unit is an area of land with relatively uniform landform, soil and vegetation characteristics. Stereo interpretation of 1:50,000 scale colour air photography was the primary means of land unit delineation. 33 land units were identified on Lyndavale Station. Each land unit has been given a detailed description of its geomorphology, soils and vegetation, and a discussion of the pastoral land management implications of these attributes.
