TL;DRAbstract

Microstructural analysis was carried out to analyze the stage-I engine compressor blade made of Ti-alloy of SU-30 MKI SB-142 aircraft which is made of Ti-6Al-4V. It has been found by EPMA analysis that the blade was damaged due to impact of non-metallic foreign objects consist of C,O, Mg, Al, Si, P etc.
