TL;DRAbstract

Amniotic fluid weigh evaluation in the fetuses with EA with TEF (group I) and EA without TEF (group II) associated to bilateral uretherohidronefrosis comparing with Control group (group III) shows higher amount of amniotic fluid (p=0,0001, ANOVA One-Way, ranks), and there was not difference between group I and II (p<0,05, DUNCAN test).In conclusion, Dox experimental model was adequate to produce esophageal atresia and visceral associated malformations.Using Dox in a higher dose and in a shorter period of time, 2 days, produced 92% of EA, and presented meaningful results than those described in the literature.Concerning to amniotic fluid, the association of bilateral UHN and EA suggests that anatomic causes are involved, possibly in the implantation of ureters next to urethra, but this kind of obstruction permits passage of urine of the fetus to amniotic fluid.
