The present introduction aims at penetrating of the 19th century architecture. In particular, the 1st Chapter analyses the importance, the climate born by neo-classicism, the influences received from Europe, this obvious tendency of a comeback, which manifested itself in the 19th century towards the antiquity’s architecture. The most significant political events of the same period, which plagued Greece, were recorded succinctly. The neoclassic architecture is subdivided not only according to its most representative neoclassic buildings, but also from the aspect of time, ranking its works in specific categories, relating it with impacts experienced by its creators. Not only are the synthetic principles laid down by types and codes regarding the function and form of the neoclassic building, but also the diversification received in implementing them.
