In this podcast we talked with Patty McCarthy about the Iowa City Public Library and the BookEnd, a used book store at the library.\nIn our project we interviewed Patty McCarthy, the director of Development at the ICPL. In this podcast Patty talks about how she came to Iowa City and became connected to the community and with the ICPL. We discussed with her the library and how it fundraises. Patty talked about the Book End, the used book store in the library that generates funds for it. We hope this story encourages people to learn more and get involved with the ICPL.
