TL;DRAbstract

Rupture of left ventricle leading to cardiac tamponade is a cause of death in 5% to 10%. We report the case of a 52-year-old woman who presented with cardiac tamponade due to ruptured left ventricular aneurysm. She was experiencing sudden onset of severe chest pains, accompanied by nausea, syncope, cold sweating.
