TL;DRAbstract

The purpose of this chapter is to discuss some of the management options available before weaning to ensure that the liveweight of the pig, and perhaps the efficiency of the gastrointestinal tract, is maximised at weaning so that the stressors imposed around weaning will have less impact upon overall efficiency in the production system.
