TL;DRAbstract

[Objective] To develop a method for the determination of HF, HCl, H3PO4 and H2SO4 in the air of workplace simultaneously. [Methods] A mixed solution of Na2CO3 and NaHCO3 were used as eluent and absorbing solution for the air sample. The samples were collected with multi-hole absorbing tubes, then separated in column after filtering and detected with conductivity detector, qualitatively controlled by elution time and quantitatively controlled by peak height or peak area. [Results] The efficiency of samples collecting was >95%, the relative standard deviation (RSD) was 1.9%~5.6% and the rate of recovery was 95.1%~102.3%. There was no significant difference between this method and chemical method. [Conclusion] This method is simple, sensitive and precise. It is adapt to collecting and detecting simultaneously for HF, HCl, H3PO4 and H2SO4 in workplace air.
