TL;DRAbstract

There were examined 30 patients (53 eyes) with ophthalmoscopical prominence and marginal fogging of optic nerve disc. Marginal fogging in retro-mode is a characteristic feature of a crowded optic nerve disc. Photoregistration on a digital scanning ophthalmoscope is a safe, non-invasive and highly sensitive method of differentiated diagnostics in eyes with edema and pseudo-edema of optic nerve.
