The operation rooms must be the cleanest area in the cleaning classification at the  hospital planning. Providing hygiene and sterilization in the operation rooms is the main problem.  Operation room flooring, wall and ceiling covering materials are generally produced with the most  advance  technology  against  to  post  operative  infection  cost.  Importing  of  those  materials  or  manufacturing with imported technology causes always changing expensive solutions. Building  technical solutions that are not included in General Technical Specifications is possible only by  private contracts and special unit prices. These specifications are generally based on firm catalogues  and international standards. Technical applications can not be controlled truly. So, first of all it is  necessary to be worked out building specifications to provide sterilized environment for hospitals.  The operation rooms should be considered as an interdisciplinary subject that obliges to work  together. Eng
