Actionnariat : Proposition d'une nouvelle typologie
TL;DRAbstract
Over the last few years, French company shareholding has gone through major changes: the disinvolvement of the State has been compensated by the emergence of shareholders who have been described as committed and even responsible. But who are these new actors? What are their strategies? What is their risk profile? How can they be managed? They are institutional, salaried or individual investors who establish new types of relation with the companies in which they invest. These relations are no longer defined in terms of contracts but of political and strategical relations. Taking into account the nature of these relations and the degree of commitment of these multiple actor-shareholders, the authors suggest a new typology of company shareholding.
