TL;DRAbstract

Law no. 21/2001 about Special Autonomy for Province of Papua is an acknowledgement from the government of the Republic of Indonesia about the operational of local government in Papua. This law is also known as an acknowledgement from government about identity and rights owned by Papua�s local people and also as conflict resolution between people in Papua who in one side were willing to separate from the Republic of Indonesia while government in the other side was not supportive with that. The law consists of some particular authorities given to people in Papua as affirmative action policy.
