Measurement and analysis on head capsule width of Lepteucosma torreyae demonstrated that distribution of head capsule width had 4 ranges,indicating as 4 instars of the larvae.Presentation was made on morphological characteristics,life cycle and habitats of the insect.Suggestion was offered for forecast and control based on phenology.
