The day that this image of the Mandorah Beach front Hotel was made was my first trip round this side of Darwin's harbour, I was amazed at the incredible view from the beer garden that looks across the Harbour towards Darwin city and the pristine beach that lay in front of me. On the day that I was there a bike race was in progress and what seemed to be hundreds of bikes and their riders were laying everywhere around the beer garden having a well earned drink and something to eat from the many BBQ's which where cooking all sorts of great smelling food before the riders took the short ferry ride back across to Darwin.
